Shepherding Your Child

Shepherding Your Child

Parenting Seminar

November 16 and 17

Raising children is one of the most rewarding jobs we as parents will ever do, it's also one of the hardest and most trying things we will ever do.  Join us as we polish up on skills and learn principles to equip us to get through the day-to-day while honoring God.  The seminar will focus on discipline, Mom and Dad being on the same page, protecting your little ones from dangers, how to maximize their school experience, the role of church in your family, teaching biblical values, and much more.

Guest Speakers

John and Martha Carter's godly perspective on developing character in families comes from long experience and practice.  Both recently retired (John from Welch College as a history professor of 35 years, Martha from Metro Nashville Public Schools as a kindergarten teacher of 24 years) but continue to serve the Lord and their church. Their two adult children and three grandchildren---and countless students--give testimony to the legacy John and Martha are building.
